GlamGlow SuperCleanse Review

I am a huge fan of the brand GlamGlow.  They make four face masks.  I tend to prefer the mask for dry skin and the one for problematic skin.
GlamGlow recently released a SuperCleanse Daily Face Cleanser (white container) as well as a ThirstyMud Daily Face Cleanser (blue container.)  I knew I would have to get my hands on at least one of them-I would have loved to purchase them both, but at $39 a piece for 5 oz. one would have to suffice.  I had to make a decision as to which one I would try first.  I went with the SuperCleanse due to the positive reviews on Sephora. They both had a high rating, but the SuperCleanse had more reviews.
I like the packaging.  It is visually appealing, but also made of nice materials.  It doesn't seem cheap in any single way.  It comes with a pump that allows you to control how much product disperses.  Many people felt that it was messy, but I haven't had that experience yet.  It is appropriate for all skin types.  It is supposed to be gentle, yet very effective.

This product was created for problematic skin, pore refining, mattifying  and clarifying.  It is a mud cleanser that is supposed to turn into foam once water is mixed on this skin.  I personally feel that it does not foam.

The directions recommend taking 2-3 pumps to massage on dry skin.  I only need one pump to cover my entire face.  Once the face is covered I let it set for a minute or so.  You can feel the cleanser clearing out your pores.  It feels incredibly refreshing.  I then moisten my hands and massage the cleanser on my face.  It turns into an oil rather than a foam, but it is a better clean than a lot of foaming cleansers I have used.  Once you rinse your face with warm water and pat your face dry you are good to go.  I then follow with my normal skin routine. I use this at night, but many reviewers use it twice daily. My skin is too dry to use it twice a day, but if you have oily skin you may benefit from using it twice daily.

My overall thought is that GlamGlow did not disappoint.  They once again added a top-notch product to their line.  It is expensive, but with using one or two pumps a day it will last a long time.  My skin did break out when I initially started using this product, but that is pretty typical of deep cleansing products.  After about a week or so my skin started to glow and looked much more even in tone and soft to the touch. If you are on the fence- head into your nearest Sephora and get a sample of this and of one the masks.  I think that you will love it as much as I do.
I cannot wait to pick up the ThirstyMud Cleanse soon to see if it helps combat my dry skin.  Thanks for reading!
